General Questions
Everyone is welcome, although we believe that you will get the most out of Luminos if you have a solid background in behaviour and training. There is no foundation track for beginners at Luminos.

There is no need to decide on courses to attend and courses to miss, as you have access to everything!
The Luminos program is three full days (Friday - Sunday).
Susan G. Friedman, Ph.D, Emma Parsons, Ken Ramirez, Dr. Jesús Rosales-Ruiz, Grisha Stewart, and Lindsay Wood Brown will teach at ClickerExpo Luminos.

Luminos is architected and organized by the same folks who bring you the fabulous ClickerExpo conferences: Karen Pryor Clicker Training.
Luminos is a single-track program covering six topics. The program is led by six faculty members and is offered in the UK at one location. Luminos can accept approximately 225 people/registrations.
ClickerExpo is a 6-track program with more than 80 topics and 20 faculty members. ClickerExpo is offered in the United States at two locations, each with a capacity of approximately 600 people/registrations.
Many Luminos speakers also teach at ClickerExpo (US).
The best bet for finding a ClickerExpo/Luminos roommate is to make contact through the many clicker-training-related discussion lists, including our event on Facebook. At this time, we do not have room-sharing functionality built into registration.
Registration Questions

Your registration includes:
- Three full days of presentations with six world-class speakers
- Lunch in the hotel restaurant each day, as well as tea, coffee, and snacks throughout the event
- Thursday evening Welcome Reception. Come meet our sponsors, browse the Store, and enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco.
ClickerExpo Luminos will include demonstrations to illustrate the application of theoretical principles.
The programme is designed to present information to consider, discuss, and then put into action once you’re home. For this reason, we ask that only dogs that are invited as demo dogs attend the conference. As always, accredited guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome throughout the event.
Payment Questions
- Once you have completed your registration online and you have entered the credit card information, please make sure to wait for the confirmation page. This page tells you that you are confirmed, and ensures that you receive a confirmation e-mail.
- If a confirmation page does not pop up and/or you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, your charge transaction has not gone through.
- Sometimes e-mails do not go through to recipients because of spam filtering (this is almost always the case with aol addresses). Please be sure that you have added www.clickertraining.com to your email address book so that our e-mails get through to you.
If you get an error message during your transaction or the system times out and nothing happens for at least a few minutes, it means that the process is not finished and you have not been charged. If the process went through and registration was completed successfully, the system will send you a confirmation e-mail automatically.
- If you have gone through part or all of the registration process and you get an Incomplete Registration e-mail (and no confirmation e-mail), it means you are not registered and you were not charged. You will need to go back and register again. These messages are generated automatically and do not require a reply.
- If you get no message (confirmed or incomplete), please check your spam and/or junk mail folders.
If the system will not take your credit card:
- Please check to make sure you are using Mastercard, Visa or American Express.
- Please be sure that the credit card info that you entered online matches exactly the billing info your credit card company has on file, or the card will not process. Do not hit the back button or close the window before the credit card has finished processing, or you will not be registered.
If the credit card transaction still does not go through, please email us at expoUK@clickertraining.com.
Making Changes to Your Registration
To make a change to your record, or to view your record at any time, simply click on the link that was sent to you with your registration confirmation. When prompted, provide the e-mail address and confirmation number provided in the email.
Alternatively, follow this link and enter your email address and confirmation number there.
- If you make a change to your registration record (such as adding a meal), you will receive an e-mail confirmation.
- If you don't get a confirmation e-mail, it may mean the change did not go through. You will need to check your record and, possibly, make the change again.
- Please be sure to confirm the change at the bottom of the page every time a change is made.
- Do not wait until you are onsite at ClickerExpo to check your registration record for the first time.
A refund will be issued in the full amount, less a £50 cancellation processing fee, if requested on or before midnight EST 12 September 2019. No refunds will be issued after this date. There are no exceptions to this policy.
All cancellation requests must be processed through your confirmation page. Please use this link. You will also need your confirmation number and email address to access the information.
Transfer your individual registration to another person up until 30 days before the event (Wednesday, 25 September 2019) for a £50 processing fee. Email expoUK@clickertraining.com with your request to transfer a registration.
No refunds are issued other than those listed in accordance with the policy above.

Meals and Special Events
We have great evening events both Friday and Saturday nights; come and join us for one or both!
On Friday evening, make new friends and professional contacts while enjoying hearty appetizers. We're combining a fun, structured networking event with prizes, music, socializing, food, and a cash bar.
On Saturday evening, come and be inspired at the Gala Dinner. Further details will be announced soon!
We invite you to bring up to 3 guests to the evening events at ClickerExpo Luminos. In addition to the cost of the evening event, there will be a non-refundable fee of £10 for per guest.
Please note that adding a guest does not entitle them to an event registration. This is for special events only.
Dogs at ClickerExpo
Some presentations may include demonstrations to illustrate the application of theoretical principles.
If there is a need for demonstration volunteers, we will reach out to attendees with specifics.

No videotaping or audio taping is allowed, except by special permission prior to the event. To inquire about recording at ClickerExpo Luminos, email expoUK@clickertraining.com.
