ExpoBuddies
Mentoring Program

Are you attending ClickerExpo for the first time and/or looking to expand your positive reinforcement training community? Or are you an experienced professional who has attended ClickerExpo and is willing to show a new attendee the ropes?

The ExpoBuddies program pairs in-person ClickerExpo first-timers with more experienced ClickerExpo attendees for informal conversation and casual networking. Mentors may help the Mentee navigate the program, offer suggestions for making the most of the event, and share lessons learned from infusing their training plans with the information gained at ClickerExpo.

Signing up is as easy as registering for the conference—just look for the ExpoBuddies option during online registration for ClickerExpo New York. If you have any questions about the program, please contact events@clickertraining.com.

Requests to participate will be accepted until January 16, 2026 for ClickerExpo New York.

Please note that our ability to pair ExpoBuddies is limited; some applicants may be put on a waiting list. In the weeks before the conference, we will share matches so that ExpoBuddies may contact each other by email before the conference begins.

In previous years, ClickerExpo received CEU accreditation from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and Karen Pryor Academy (KPA).

ClickerExpo New York has received CEU credits from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and Karen Pryor Academy (KPA).

Three-Day Attendees:

  • Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT):
    • 30 Knowledge CEUs
    • 1.5 Skills CEUs for each Dog/Handler Spot in Learning Labs (up to 2 total Learning Labs)
    • Courses approved for CBCC-KA CEUs may be applied to a CPDT-KA or CPDT-KSA recertification. Courses approved for CPDT-KA or CPDT-KSA may not be applied to a CBCC-KA recertification. Please review event description on the Approved CEU Events page of the CCPDT website to confirm credits earned for your credential.
      PLEASE NOTE: CPDT-KA can earn a MAXIMUM of 12 CPDT-KSA Skills CEUS within their 3 year certification period.
  • International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC):
    • 6 CEU credits each on Friday and Saturday, and 4.5 CEU credits on Sunday, for a maximum number of CEUs totaling 16.5, if in attendance each day
    • 2.3 CEUs for each Learning Lab (up to 2 total Learning Labs)
  • Karen Pryor Academy (KPA):
    • 30 CEUs
    • 3 Hands-On CEUs for each Learning Lab (up to 2 total Learning Labs)

One-/Two-Day Attendees:
The CEUs earned for each day of ClickerExpo can be found below. If you are a two-day attendee, simply add the days together for your total number of CEUs. Please note that there is a maximum of one (1) Learning Lab spot for one- and two-day registrants.

    • Friday: 10 Knowledge CEUs
    • Saturday: 10 Knowledge CEUs

ClickerExpo LIVE has received CEU accreditation from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and Karen Pryor Academy (KPA).

Attendees may earn 2 CEUs per course attended or recording watched; please check with your certifying body for the maximum number of CEUs you may apply towards recertification. For the list of courses eligible for CCPDT CBCC CEUs, click here.

ClickerExpo LIVE has also received CEU accreditation from the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (RACE)!
  • Veterinarians and Vet Techs: 24 CEUs

Approved in subject matter categories of: Non-Medical Program using the delivery method of Lab/Wet Lab, Interactive-Distance.  This approval is valid in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB RACE approval.

*Please note that business courses will not count towards the 24 RACE CEUs.

CEUs may only be earned by registered attendees, as they have purchased the license to view the content.

PLEASE NOTE: QUIZZES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 11:59 PM PT ON NOVEMBER 30, 2024 TO RECEIVE CEU CREDIT FOR CLICKEREXPO LIVE 2024. More information on earning CEU credit will be available in the Conference Platform in January.

This year, ClickerExpo will not be providing CEUs for the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (RACE). We were not able to receive the accreditation we have been given in the past.
