Early-bird registration for ClickerExpo Washington, DC, will open Thursday, August 18, at 12:00 pm (ET)/9:00 am (PT). Spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

HOW IT WORKS

  • STEP 1: Retrieve Your Code

    Once you've registered for ClickerExpo Washington, DC, you'll receive an email that includes your referral code.

  • STEP 2: Spread the Word

    Tell your friends about ClickerExpo!

  • STEP 3: Redeem the Code

    When your friend registers as a first-time attendee, they should list your name in response to the "How Did You Hear About Us" question. The friend should enter the code under “Discount Code” on the last page of registration in order to receive the $15 discount.

  • STEP 4: Repeat

    The more the merrier! You can share your code with as many of your first-time Expo friends as you’d like! For every person who lists you as a referral, you'll be entered for a chance to win a gift basket from the ClickerExpo Store valued at $50.

Additional Information: Referral discount is valid beginning September 1, 2022. Valid for first-time attendees only and may not be used in combination with other discount-related codes or sponsorship. KPA Certified Training Partner members and Dog Trainer Professional students are not eligible to refer other KPA Certified Training Partner members or Dog Trainer Professional students for this program. Registrants who have attended any ClickerExpo event prior to 2023 are not eligible to receive the referral discount on registration pricing. If a registrant has attended any ClickerExpo event prior to 2023 and uses the referral discount, an additional $15 will be charged via the same payment method used for initial registration. First-time attendees must enter the discount code during registration; referral discounts cannot be added to registrations retroactively. One winner will be selected at random for the Store gift card.  Card has no cash value and must be redeemed by the conclusion of ClickerExpo.

ClickerExpo Washington, DC Scholarships

For People Who Are Black, Indigenous, or Otherwise of Color

Thank you for your interest! All ClickerExpo LIVE scholarship recipients have been selected. 

Karen Pryor Clicker Training is committed to making the positive dog trainer and behavior specialist professions and related occupations more inclusive. Starting in September, we will award 10 individual scholarships that will allow recipients to register for ClickerExpo Washington, DC for $299 (a savings of up to $400). Whether you are an experienced professional or just getting started, we encourage people who are Black, Indigenous, or Otherwise of Color (BIPOC) to apply.

To facilitate the growth of our community, these scholarships will be awarded to those attending ClickerExpo for the first time.  The earlier you apply, the more chances you have to be selected!

If you are selected as a BIPOC scholarship recipient and you have already registered for the event, we will refund to you the registration fee you paid, less $99. If you are not selected as a recipient and still wish to attend, the current conference rate will apply.

If the criteria are met, the organization will be given a unique discount code that they may distribute to full- or part-time staff or volunteers. Group attendance is required to be a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10. The organization must be legally recognized. A credit card will need to be provided in advance. Should the group not meet the minimum at least 30 days prior to ClickerExpo, the card will be charged in full for registration. The group discount will be available while Preferred or Standard pricing is available, on a first-come, first-served basis. Super Fan and Early-Bird pricing offer the best price possible; a group discount will not be valid. Not valid in conjunction with other discounts (for example, not valid with the first-time attendee referral discount). If a group member registers in advance of receiving the discount code, the code will be added to their account by the Administrator, and the member will receive the discount once the group minimum is satisfied.
