No. By registering for this event, you are purchasing a single license to view ClickerExpo LIVE content that grants viewing access solely to the account holder, and you agree not to share your login credentials with other people or stream ClickerExpo LIVE content to a group. Content is intended for the individual registrant only.
Karen Pryor Clicker Training reserves the right to disable accounts if we are alerted to misuse, and no refund will be issued.
Additionally, CEUs may only be earned by registered attendees, as they have purchased the license to view the content.
Choosing Courses
- Tracks: Back by popular demand! This year at ClickerExpo LIVE, courses are once again thoughtfully curated into specialized Tracks to help guide your learning experience. Tracks are an easy way for you to locate all the courses we offer on the topics of interest to you! A track always has at least four courses in it, and our largest Track – Expanding Skills (the beating heart of ClickerExpo LIVE) - has twenty-one courses.
- Mix and match. Unlike other conferences, you are not locked into any Track! Your registration is open-ended, so you can participate in courses from as many Tracks as you like.
- Choice, simplified. Tracks are a convenient way to navigate the many course choices at ClickerExpo LIVE and easily find the courses that match your areas of interest. Filter by Track and see the titles, descriptions, faculty, and date/time of all the courses in that Track.
- The Tracks are where it’s at! There are 11 tracks at ClickerExpo LIVE. See the list of all 11 tracks below and go to the Program page to begin filtering by Track.
- Aggression & Problem Solving: These courses are for trainers working with behavior issues, including, but not limited to, management of reactivity and aggression.
- Cooperative Care / Veterinary: These courses focus on skill development and knowledge useful in husbandry and medical procedures, both at home and in veterinary environments.
- Enrichment:These courses focus on understanding enrichment as a training strategy and skill to achieve behavior change, solve problems, and enhance well-being.
- Expanding Skills: These courses showcase innovative approaches, refinement of techniques, new protocols, or new perspectives.
- Foundational Skills: These courses are designed specifically for those with limited or no experience in market-based positive reinforcement training or for those seeking a solid refresher in the topic. Foundational courses are all included in the “core curriculum,” which maps out a recommended set of courses for those newer to the field.
- High-Performance Training: These courses help build the skills and knowledge needed for performance in environments where outcomes are measured and results matter, whether on stage, in the ring, or out in the field.
- Horses, Cats, Birds, and More:These courses cover training and behavior for non-canine species. See the individual courses to find the subject species of a particular course.
- Science & Applied Behavior Analysis: These courses look at building training knowledge and skill through the lens of applied behavior analysis and behavioral science.
- Service Dogs: These courses specifically cover skills and knowledge useful for the training of service dogs and service dog behaviors.
- Shelters & Dogs from Shelters: These courses address issues common to shelter environments and rescue work, as well as adopting or working with dogs from those environments.
- Teaching Others: These courses help build the skills and knowledge for being a more effective and more satisfied teacher of others, including clients and colleagues in individual, group, and online settings.
Yes! We have four distinct course formats.
Dem-OH!
Learn about a training topic and watch it come to life! Live demonstrations from world-class trainers working with their animals or with colleagues' animals from around the globe. Includes demonstrations, presentations, and audience Q&A.
Learning Lab
Participate from home alongside trainers, teachers, and your animals! Practice the exercises with your own animals during designated working times or sign up for one of the limited Animal/Handler Spotlight Team Slots to receive coaching from the presenter(s) in front of the virtual audience. Includes audience Q&A and, usually, a presentation and a live demonstration, too!
Animal/Handler Spotlight Team Slots (limited and require pre-registration):
- Learning Labs are designed for you to work directly with the Faculty and Speakers with your animal. Labs have a limited number of Animal/Handler Spotlight Team slots available at $19.95 each.
Make sure to read the course descriptions thoroughly.
Prefer to work with your animal off-camera without Faculty feedback, or simply observe? That's fine too, and no pre-registration is required in that case.
Let’s Talk! (Panel Discussions)
Delve into a specific topic in a moderated discussion with a panel of speakers gathered together on our virtual stage, with time for audience Q&A. Ready for lively discussion, unique perspectives, and the expertise of those who are the best at what they do? Let’s Talk!
Webinar
Prefer a traditional online presentation? We've got those, too! These courses are for attendees who like learning from a webinar-style presentation, with time allocated for Q&A.
In the ClickerExpo LIVE conference program, course types are listed within each course box directly under the speaker.
ClickerExpo LIVE features 45 LIVE courses! Unless otherwise noted in the description, the course is new!
There are a minimal number of LIVE 2026 courses that were also presented at LIVE in prior years. For these courses, the content will be similar, but the training is LIV,E so the experience will be unique—and you'll likely learn something new!
ClickerExpo LIVE registration includes access to all courses PLUS access to all the 2026 conference course recordings for one year.
There are limited Animal/Handler Spotlight Team Slots in Learning Labs that require pre-registration (and cost $19.95) to get coaching from the presenter(s) in front of the virtual audience. There is a maximum of 1 Spotlight Team Slot per registrant.
Make sure to read the Learning Lab course descriptions thoroughly, including the participant notes and any prerequisite sessions.
Prefer to work with your animal off-camera without Faculty or Speaker feedback, or simply observe? That's fine too, and no pre-registration is required in that case. You may attend an unlimited number of Labs as an observer.
Each registrant can reserve one Spotlight Team Slot in a Learning Lab to receive coaching from the presenter(s) in front of the virtual audience. (Please note that these spots are extremely limited.)
A great perk of our virtual Learning Labs is that even without a Spotlight Team Slot, you can work with your animal off camera and participate in the exercises. You just won't receive feedback from the instructor.
You will notice that all Learning Lab descriptions include Spotlight Team Prerequisites, which encompass Animal/Handler skills, necessary equipment, and other requirements that speakers expect participants to possess or have available during the Learning Lab. Please be sure to check the prerequisites before registering for a Spotlight Team Slot.
Since each Animal/Handler Spotlight Team will appear on camera during ClickerExpo LIVE, there are additional expectations for those who sign up for Spotlight Spots. Animal/Handler Spotlight Teams must agree to:
- Be on camera in a well-lit room.
- Have enough space to work comfortably while remaining visible to the ClickerExpo audience.
- Have sufficient internet bandwidth to participate on camera.
- Test your computer and equipment on your own prior to participating in this Lab.
- Join the Learning Lab online 15 minutes before the start.
It is also recommended that those with Spotlight Team Slots have a wireless headset, as you will be working at a distance from your computer and will need to be heard during the Learning Lab.
When Learning Labs are based on concepts presented in a preceding course, those Labs have "In Action" in their titles, and the corresponding course will be listed as a prerequisite for those Labs. Note that the prerequisite course is only a requirement if you are a participant in the Lab, but Lab observers are strongly encouraged to attend the Session as well.
Learning Lab Faculty assume that participants have attended the prerequisite course, if there is one. Please do not register to participate in a Lab if you do not plan to take the prerequisite course.
There are Learning Labs that are not directly linked to Learning Sessions; these Labs offer great exploratory learning opportunities.
No. You can either register for an available Learning Lab OR join the waitlist for one that is full.
Here's how the waitlist works:
- As attendees change their schedules, spots open up.
- When a spot opens up and you are on the waitlist, you will be notified by email in the order you joined the waitlist.
- To add the Lab, refer to the question in Section 3: View/Modify Registration.
- You will have 12 hours before the next person on the waitlist is notified. Details will be provided in the email.
**Please Note: Being on the waitlist does not guarantee you the next available spot. When a spot opens up, you will be notified in the order you were waitlisted via email, and new registrants will be able to register, but only the first to do so will be added. After you are notified, if you do not register within the time stated, you will be removed from the waitlist. We encourage you to add events@clickertraining.com to your email contacts to ensure receipt of all emails.
**Learning Lab limits will still apply when you are notified of an open spot. If you choose to add a lab you have been notified of, but have reached your limit, you will need to modify your schedule.
