Volunteer with Us
Many hands make light work, with benefits to boot!
We are seeking 4-5 friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to assist at the ClickerExpo Store in Chicago! No prior experience is necessary, although retail/customer service skills are a plus. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required. Some lifting may be involved.
Duties include:
Store Set-UpThursday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Volunteers must be available beginning at 9:00 am on Thursday for store set-up. This entails:
- Moving and opening boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Setting up store displays
- Removing excess cartons and packing materials
- Additional duties as required
Volunteers must be available for all of the following:
Thursday: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Friday: 7:00 am - 6:30 pm (all breaks and lunch)
Saturday: 7:00 am - 6:30 pm (all breaks and lunch)
Sunday: 7:00 am - 2:00 pm (all breaks and lunch)
Sunday: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Store duties include (but are not limited to):
- Maintaining, managing, and organizing merchandise on display tables
- Assisting customers in locating items
- Helping customers with checking and retrieving stored bags
- Assisting ClickerExpo Store Staff with customer checkout
- Organizing and maintaining bag storage in the checkout area
- Providing support as needed
Store Breakdown
Sunday 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
- Helping to pack products for transport/shipping
- Conducting physical product counts
- Moving product to designated locations
Store volunteers will receive complimentary admission to the conference as well as vouchers for breakfast, and lunch in the store staff break room. Dinners and special events are an additional cost. You will also receive a 10% discount on regularly-priced store merchandise.
Volunteers are free to attend any courses as long as their duties are fulfilled, with the exception of Sunday afternoon when all volunteers are needed for store break-down.

Please be aware that dogs are not allowed in the store while you are working (with the exception of service dogs), so alternate arrangements must be made if you have a dog.
Store volunteers will be selected and notified by February 1, 2025. If you are chosen as a Store volunteer and have already registered, we will refund your registration fee. If you do not receive a notification by this date, it means that alternate volunteers have been selected. Thank you for your interest!
